About me

Dr. Franck Lin has dedicated his life to women's health.

After graduating medical school at University of Toledo, he completed a 4 year residency program at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. In Hershey, he met his wife, a dedicated PhD student studying the genetic/epigenetic causes of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at the time. Dr. Lin and his wife live in Urbana, raising twin toddlers and two adopted dogs.

Dr Lin listened to my complaints about my painful, irregular periods with empathy and sincerity. I wanted a hysterectomy and he discussed less invasive options without patronizing me. And then he actually fought my insurance company to twist their arm and convince them that a hysterectomy was my best option. He even validated my pain and experience. He thoroughly and patiently explained risks and contextualized how likely those risks are in every day language. I have never experienced that from a doctor before. Any of it.AND I had a great recovery, too. Dr Lin is a treasure.
